Patchwork privacy

Patchwork keeps your puzzles, quilt and settings on your device, and on Apple devices in your own iCloud. There is no Patchwork account, advertising or analytics, and the game does not send us anything about how you play.

Who we are

Epona Solutions Ltd, United Kingdom, provides Patchwork under the Z4P games label. Contact info@epona-solutions.ltd.uk for support or privacy questions. This notice covers the Patchwork app, the Z4P website and support enquiries. Epona Solutions Ltd is the data controller. It is registered in England and Wales, company no. 07763561, and its registered office is 2b Gaol Street, Oakham, Rutland, LE15 6AQ.

Your puzzles and quilt

Your daily results, streak, quilt, collections, sewing-box pieces and settings are saved in the app's own storage on your device. They are not uploaded to us or to any game server of ours, and no game account is needed. All of the game's pictures, fabrics and sounds are built into the app.

On iPhone, iPad and Mac, the app also keeps a copy of your progress in your own iCloud, so your quilt follows you between your devices. Apple stores it under your Apple Account and its own privacy policy; we cannot see it. Turn off iCloud for Patchwork in your device settings to keep progress on one device only. On Android, progress stays on the device.

Your operating system may back up app data according to your device settings. Removing the app or clearing its data can remove your progress, and we cannot recover a save kept only on your device.

Game Center

On iPhone, iPad and Mac you can choose to sign in to Apple Game Center. If you do, the app reports the sewing-box achievements you earn and two scores, the number of days you have sewn and your longest daily run, to Apple, which shows them to you and, depending on your Game Center settings, to your friends. Apple handles this under its own privacy policy, and nothing is sent to us. Game Center is optional and you can sign out of it in your device settings.

Sharing

When you share a result or save a keepsake quilt, Patchwork hands the text or picture to your device's own share sheet. You choose where it goes. Nothing is sent to us.

Patchwork Club

Club is sold as an in-app purchase. Apple and Google handle store accounts, payments, free trials, renewals and refunds under their own privacy policies, and we never receive payment-card details. The app asks the store whether you have Club so it can unlock it and restore it on your devices.

Apple processes TestFlight feedback and crash reports, and Google processes Play testing and diagnostic information, according to your store settings. Information you choose to submit may be shared with us to investigate a problem.

This website

Cloudflare hosts z4p.app and processes network information, such as IP addresses and request details, to deliver and protect it. We do not add advertising trackers, behavioural analytics or analytics cookies. The Patchwork taster at z4p.app/patchwork/try/ keeps your place and your sound setting in your browser’s storage on this device. It is not sent to us, and clearing this site’s data in your browser removes it.

When you contact us

We receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send, and use them to answer and follow up your enquiry. Please do not send passwords or payment-card details. We keep correspondence only as long as needed to resolve it or to meet legal record-keeping requirements.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold, restrict its use, object where applicable, or obtain a portable copy where that right applies. Email info@epona-solutions.ltd.uk. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner's Office or your local data protection authority.

Changes

We will update this page before Patchwork's handling of information changes. The date above identifies this version.
